About Allison
Allison has been a Certified Lymphedema Therapist since 2017 and graduated from the Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy where she received her lymphedema certification. She currently works at the Aquilino Cancer Center, affiliated with Adventist HealthCare, where she provides the full spectrum of complete decongestive therapy to people diagnosed with lymphedema and lipedema, as well as providing oncology rehabilitation for those who are undergoing various cancer treatments and surgeries. She has worked with all types of cancers providing therapy and rehabilitation for breast cancer related lymphedema, head and neck lymphedema, abdominal and genital lymphedema, as well as lymphedema affecting the legs which may be due to both cancer and/or a compromise in blood flow to the legs resulting in phlebolymphedema. She is wound care certified. She graduated from West Virginia University in 2009 with her master's degree in occupational therapy. In her free time, she loves spending time with her two dogs and cats, being outdoors either traveling the world, gardening or reading a good book. Allison enjoys making people smile from the inside out. Her approach to health and healing is really about growing a connection with every human body that she gets the opportunity to connect with and to finding their peace, wellness, and happiness within.
